This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship and deliver orders placed on LitPartyShit. It follows e‑commerce best practices, including clear delivery estimates and instructions for lost or restricted shipments. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Refund & Returns Policy.

1. Processing Time

  • Order processing: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Processing involves verifying payment, checking inventory, and packaging. During promotional periods or holidays, processing may take slightly longer.

  • Order cutoff: Orders placed after [cutoff time] will be processed the following business day. We do not process orders on Sundays or national public holidays.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We work with reliable courier partners across India to ensure timely delivery. Depending on your location and order size, we may ship via:

  • India Post
  • Delhivery
  • Bluedart
  • Ecom Express
  • DTDC

For international shipments (where available), carriers may include DHL, FedEx, UPS or postal services. You will see available shipping options at checkout.

3. Delivery Estimates and Times

Customers want to know how long it will take before their package arrives. Our delivery estimates after dispatch are:

  • Metro and Tier‑1 cities: 2–5 business days
  • Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 cities: 3–8 business days
  • Remote/Outlying regions: 5–10 business days

International orders may take 7–15 business days depending on customs and destination. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed; delays caused by carriers, weather, or force majeure events are beyond our control.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping fees (if any) will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on order value, weight, and destination. Occasionally we run free‑shipping promotions; eligibility will be clearly stated on the website.

5. Shipping Restrictions & Exclusions

Certain products, like items containing lithium batteries, may be subject to air transport regulations and cannot be shipped via express or airmail. We also cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or restricted areas (e.g., military zones). If an item cannot be shipped to your location, we will notify you promptly and issue a refund.

6. Lost or Missing Packages

Sometimes packages get delayed or lost. To manage expectations, we outline our protocol for lost or missing packages:

  1. If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, first check your tracking link for updates.
  2. Contact the courier with your tracking number to investigate the delay.
  3. If the courier confirms the package is lost, contact us at contact@litpartyshit.com within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. We will work with the courier to locate the package or arrange a replacement/refund.
  4. Any claims for missing or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

7. International Shipping

International customers may face additional duties, taxes or customs fees. Our policy includes a clause clarifying who is responsible for customs and import duties. Typically, the recipient is responsible for paying these charges upon delivery. We do not control or estimate these fees; check with your local customs office for details.

If we do not offer international shipping to your country, we will state this clearly during checkout and in the policy.

8. Address Errors & Non‑Deliverable Packages

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide complete and accurate shipping information. Packages returned to us due to incorrect addresses or repeated delivery failures may incur re‑shipping charges. If you realise there’s an error in your address, please contact us immediately so we can attempt to correct it before dispatch.
